Sent away to boarding school at the age of 11, this was my first report back.  These reports slide from comments on how good my handwriting is into irritation with my poor attention and then my even poorer attitude. It is clear as the years progress that I show no promise.

Someone, who had been at Aberlour House too, after reading and listening here, told me that perhaps the reason our English master disappeared was his attempt at grooming two of the boys.
